We collect the following information when you sign up:

• Name — to personalize your reports
• Email address — to deliver your reports and communicate with you
• Business name — to tailor trend insights to your studio
• City and state — to pull local trend data for your market
• Studio type — to personalize the marketing recommendations

If you upgrade to a paid plan, PayPal processes your payment information directly. We do not store or have access to your credit card details.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Generate and send your personalized weekly fitness trend report
• Personalize report content to your city, business name, and studio type
• Send service-related emails (account confirmations, billing notices)
• Improve TrendFit's report quality and relevance
• Respond to your support requests

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond delivering the TrendFit service.

4. Data Sources We Use to Generate Reports

TrendFit generates reports using publicly available trend data from:

• Google Trends — public search interest data
• Reddit — public posts from fitness communities
• YouTube — public video trend data
• NewsAPI — publicly available news headlines

None of your personal data is shared with these services beyond what is necessary to make API requests (city name for geographic filtering).

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We share data only with:

• Resend — our email delivery provider, to send your reports
• PayPal / Braintree — to process subscription payments
• Anthropic — AI provider that generates report content (city and business type only, no personal identifiers)

All third-party providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as you have an active account with TrendFit. If you unsubscribe or request deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days. Billing records may be retained longer as required by law.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Unsubscribe from all emails at any time
• Opt out of any future communications

TrendFit uses minimal cookies for session management (keeping you logged in to your account). We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

TrendFit is intended for business owners and fitness professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 years of age.
